The lovely Tas from Very Craftea approached us as she was looking for a label for her wonderful new range of hampers. Although she had already developed a strong identity for her brand, Tas had no idea what she was looking for when it came to her label design. Fortunately, our design pro Beth was ready to take up the challenge…
As Tas was unsure on the style of design she wanted for her labels, we created three separate designs, hoping she would love one or it would spark some ideas. Tas supplied us with her logo, which is how the initial design process began.
We chose to use the Very Craftea colour across all three designs to keep the brand identity consistent, selected a simple sans serif font and sourced suitable images. Once the three designs were complete, we sent them over to Tas for feedback. Tas chose one of our initial designs without any changes!
We also designed the back of the label to show the ingredients and other tea hampers available. The original InDesign file was sent to Tas enabling her to amend the text depending on the tea hamper, so we used placeholder text in place of the ingredients to show the style of the design.
“I am very happy with the design that I received from M.A.D. I didn’t give the team a lot to work with, as I wasn’t really sure what I was entirely after! I was given 3 initial concepts, all of which I liked, but still they said that, if I wasn’t happy, they would keep working on them until I was happy. My final design was one of the original concepts with no changes to it! I would definitely recommend M.A.D and would have no issues working with them again!”
