Say hello to Brooke!

Brooke is our new Content Co-ordinator, and brings with her a wealth of copywriting experience, as well as a snazzy degree in fashion journalism.

Let’s find out a little more about Brooke:

Hey Brooke, wonderful to have you with us! What are you looking forward to most about your role at M.A.D Communications?

Thank you for having me! I’m looking forward to getting fully stuck in and throwing everything I have into projects and creating content for clients. I’m excited to learn along the way and push myself with the support of a lovely team.

Why did you choose to work in a creative industry?

I feel it was always an obvious choice for me. I’ve always loved how words and art can create feelings. When you’re generally passionate about your job, it doesn’t feel like work.

What motivates you?

Seeing the positive result of hard work is always rewarding and it motivates me to keep going, try again and do it better.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Do what makes you happy. “Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

How would your friends describe you?

I’m the sensible, responsible one. I always play by the rules but like to have fun within the boundaries.

What do you love to do in your free time?

Eat, drink, travel and browse for bargains on Vinted.

Okay, now for some quick-fire questions…

Favourite film?

Cheaper by the Dozen 2. This has been my go-to answer for years. At this point, I’m not even sure if it is my favourite or if I’ve just become complacent with my choice. Either way, it’s a cracking film!

Currently watching/reading?

Reading The Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danan. And I’m always watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine back-to-back on Netflix.

If you were stuck on a desert island, which three things would you choose to take with you?

A good book, a hairbrush and a nail file.

Favourite social media platform?

Instagram. I’m doing it all for the ‘gram.

Your life motto?

There’s no such thing as can’t.

And the most important question – cats or dogs?

Hmmm, probably dogs but I’m too scared to touch them. But, I will happily smile at it from a safe distance.
