Diaries at the ready – here are the top dates you need to look out for this November, and a few cheeky content ideas thrown in there for good measure that you can include in your digital or social media content.

2nd: National Stress Awareness Day

Share tips on how to tackle stress, or show your audience how you are combating stress in your workplace. Share your personal experiences with stress and burnout.

5th: Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes Night

Share those fantastic fireworks! It’s also a good opportunity to educate your audience about firework safety, if it relates to your brand.

November 7th – 13th

13th: Remembrance Sunday

Share a poppy to remember those lost, or take part in fundraising activities for charities close to you.

November 14th – 20th

14th: World Diabetes Day

Do you have team members who are dealing with diabetes? Today is a great day to allow them to tell their stories or myth-bust some of the common misconceptions about diabetes.

18th: BBC Children in Need

If your team are fundraising for Children in Need – today’s the day to shout about your achievements! Show the different ways you’ve been fundraising, fun activities and encourage your audience to get involved.

19th: World Toilet Day

While World Toilet Day may not seem like the most traditional or fun day in November, there’s a serious message to this day. It highlights those that don’t have safe access to clean toilets. If it relates to your brand, it may be an interesting opportunity to share some statistics with your audience and help raise awareness.

20th: Universal Children’s Day

This ones’s for the kids! Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on 20th November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare.

Time for kick-off! Get your bets in on who’ll win the World Cup 2022! Is it coming home this year?

Share your favourite shows, what you’re watching, or ask your audience for their recommendations on the hottest new series. It’s a great chance for some reactive content on any shows making the headlines at the moment!

Say HELLO to your audience! Think about offering a special ‘hello’ discount code in your email marketing strategy or hold a giveaway, encouraging followers to comment ‘hello’ and pick the winner from amongst the entrants.

23rd: National Freelancers Day

Wish your audience across the US a great thanksgiving, share some recipes or pictures of your own Thanksgiving feast.

28th: Cyber Monday

The last opportunity to save some money online before Christmas hits – offer some deals, promotions or money off to your audience. Encourage them to share your deals with friends and family, and remind them that Christmas is coming!
