Moving on up – Brooke’s promotion to Account Manager

M.A.D Communications, an independent, female-led copywriting, marketing, and social media agency based in the North East of England, is marking new beginnings by appointing Brooke Murphy as an Account Manager – a promotion that will see her manage some of the business’ core accounts.

A keen writer and marketer, since joining the business in 2022 as part of the University of Sunderland’s Graduate Internship Scheme, Brooke has honed her skills and brought fresh new ideas to the team. Armed with a profound eye for detail and an expansive skillset, she is always looking for new ways to elevate her clients’ content and help them achieve their marketing goals.

Brooke has an undergraduate degree in Fashion Journalism and a wealth of experience in copywriting, social media management, and content creation. During her time with M.A.D, she has supported with the development of campaigns and overseen client accounts, making her perfectly placed to take this next step

Brooke Murphy, Account Manager, said: “For me, the promotion means a lot. It shows that my efforts are paying off, both in terms of actual results for clients and in recognition from my team that I’m ready to take on greater responsibilities.

“I’ve always loved writing copy, content, and blogs but recently I have discovered a new love for projects that push my boundaries. Design work and managing social media accounts has given me the opportunity to challenge my creative thinking, push myself further, and explore new avenues.”
