Hi Rachael, welcome to the team!
Wonderful to be here, I’m joining the team as a Social Media and Content Coordinator and I can’t wait to scratch that creative itch and really get stuck into working with our fabulous clients to create some amazing content. The role is so varied, and I love that no two days will be the same. There’s going to be a lot of fingers in a lot of pies and I’m raring to go.
I’ve always loved to write and create things, ever since I was a tiny tot. I never saw the possibility of it as a career until a few years ago, and immediately knew I’d found my happy place. Fast forward 5 years, an Undergraduate Degree, an internship and a Master’s Degree, and here I am, working my dream job before I’ve even graduated from my MA. Actual pinch me moment!
I’m a firm believer that you should never stop learning, and challenging myself to try new things (even if I fail) keeps me motivated!
It’s okay to not know what you want, it’s okay to try new things and to follow a different path to everyone around you. I think growing up during the social media revolution had a massive impact on my self-esteem and I’ve learnt that comparing myself to everyone around me, all day every day, isn’t healthy.
The mother of the group. Need a shoulder to cry on, some tough love or a bit of advice? I’m your gal.
We recently welcomed a little ragdoll kitten into our family, so a lot of my time is used to keep him entertained! But aside from that, I’m an avid gamer. I also love to read, spend time with my amazing family and top it all off with the occasional Netflix binge with my husband.
This is a hard one, but if I really had to choose, the two I always default to are Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Spirited Away.
Watching – The Sopranos. I saw the first couple of seasons years ago but never finished it, so managed to talk my husband into watching it with me!
Reading – Just finished off Fire and Blood by George R.R Martin & I’m about to dive into The World of Ice and Fire.
Roma Italian Restaurant in Sunderland – the best carbonara I’ve ever tasted!
Got to be Instagram.
